Founder & Acquisition Lead

Ian knows what it takes to keep a business running—and what it takes to grow one. He started out in private equity, learning the ins and outs of acquisitions, operations, and investor relations. Before joining Magnify, he was the Operations Manager at a fast-growing HVAC company, where he oversaw day-to-day management and helped double the company’s size in under two years. He led the rollout of new systems, handled recruiting and training, managed scheduling and dispatch, and successfully oversaw software migrations that improved everything from customer service to payroll.

He doesn’t just manage teams—he understands the tools, the trucks, and the people behind the work. Whether it’s managing vendor relationships, streamlining operations, or getting hands-on with a wrench when needed, Ian is a steady operator who leads by doing.

When he’s not working, Ian’s usually out on the lake, traveling off the beaten path, or watching whatever game’s on.

Founder & Creative Strategist

Fey brings a rare mix of creative direction and operational thinking to the businesses she works with. She’s spent over a decade helping teams tell their story, build strong brands, and run tighter, more effective operations. Her background spans strategy, creative direction, branding and design work for multiple businesses and various independent ventures.

Before co-founding Magnify, she led creative strategy at one of the world’s largest activist networks, where her work was seen by millions and presented to heads of state. She’s worked across sectors—from early-stage startups to global orgs—and she knows how to take something scrappy and shape it into something strong, clear, and compelling.

Fey believes good design isn’t about flash—it’s about clarity, usefulness, and elevating what already works. Outside of work, she’s usually watching movies, reading something philosophical, or walking her (very spoiled) dog.

Founder & Systems Builder

Chris is a systems guy through and through—he loves making businesses run better. Over the past 15 years, he’s worked across industries and continents, from managing multi-million-dollar budgets to swinging a hammer. He spent years as a carpenter, worked as a park ranger in Alaska, and has built up his own real estate portfolio from the ground up.

Before co-founding Magnify, Chris led global operations for a large international nonprofit, managing specialized teams across multiple time zones and overseeing budgets north of $5 million. He’s also led training programs, recruited and built high-performing teams, and implemented systems and tech tools that helped organizations run smoother at every level.

Chris brings that same steady, hands-on approach to every business we work with—focusing on what works, what needs fixing, and how to make the whole operation hum. When he’s not working, you’ll find him cooking for a crowd, sailing on Lake Champlain, or sketching plans for his next home build.
